I'm not an award winner, but here is a list of interesting things I've done —

Got a diploma in Motion Design.
Animated that hand tapping thing you see in most McDonald's store.
Got influenced to pick up React.js.
Started a small agency with friends.
Redesigned a digital transaction app in Shopee.
Got my portfolio on bestfolios!
Studied really hard in design school.

Translating Web3 on-chain data in CoinGecko.

MY STORY 001- Hi again! I am Yuan Jie, a Product Designer based in Singapore. Apart from graduating from the National University of Singapore, I've also had the opportunity to design for multiple complex problems spaces, from fraud in Grab to payments in ShopeePay.

My technical background in Motion Design and Programming allows me to design strategically and translate information into design decisions quickly. This is also often helpful in allowing me to act like a bridge between developers and designers.

Not forgetting the exploratory rigour and investigative nature of every project I undertake, I also use these technical knowledge in research and prototyping. I've made working prototypes that explores projection mapping, computer vision, to tinkering with natural language processing.

I believe that I’ve barely scratched the surface as a technically-inclined designer and look forward to explore even more complex areas of design!
